Mom's Brag Page

This page is really has nothing to do with the rabbits, but is Mom's opportunity to brag about the amazing kids she has.  Thanks for putting up with my pride!

The pawprint is that of "Della" the farm dog.  I had to reduce the quality to get it to load in a decent time.  We had fun with this one, as in its original size, you could zoom into one of the pad prints and make out Della's finger prints...

"Here there be Della's"

Entered in the 2004 Harris County Fair

Received a blue ribbon and sold at silent auction.

The following are photos taken by "the eldest child" and were entered in the 2004 Houston Livestock Show Go Texan Photography Contest.  All three will be on display at Reliant Center during the 2004 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.  Enjoy!

This photo is simply called "Horse Tails" as

that is what the plant is.  It placed 2nd in the

2004 HLSR Go Texan Photo Contest in the

"Texas Wildflowers" category.

This is "Posing Pretty".  This Longhorn heifer's name is Katie.  She has a snippet of black

above each hoof, and the tip of her tail. Kate was tickled that she was marked like her

Californian Bunnies.  This entry placed 3rd in Ranch and Farm Animals Category.

This is the farm in a nutshell.... or maybe just in Papaw's hat.  This entry placed 2nd in

the Western Still Life category. Kate was not very happy with this one. She was disappointed

in her framing.  However, the textures and colors we all loved.
