This sweet boy was purchase from Emma by Kate while in the nestbox. She "had a feeling about him". As he grew (I am being forced to share this), I wasn't overly excited about him. He just didn't "wow" me. However, he was good enough to watch, and I am reminded frequently: now that he has received his third leg, that I never imagined he would be GC material. He is very nice now, and has filled out in the places I thought he was lacking originally. I am very proud of him, right along with Kate. He has the personality to go with his good looks, and we are anxiously watching his first litter and awaiting his second to see how they grow. He is an example of "good things come to those who wait." He has been worth the time and effort to grow out. He is only 3# 14oz at 11 months old. We are hoping his prime coat comes in time for the Nationals in April 2005. He received his 4th leg as Best Opposite of Variety at the 2005 Houston Livestock Show Youth Breeders Show.
