In The Nest Boxes

And Juniors Too!

Here are some snapshots of what is or has recently been in the nest boxes around our place.  They are mostly rotten from being loved and handled from birth.

This is what happens when Californian kits get chilled in the nest box.  They will molt the gray out, but they look "kinda cool" according to the girls.	This is what Californian kits normally look like at about 1 week old. There is something to be said for body heat!
Here is the 2004 HLSR Market Pen. They were presented on 09 March 2004.  This year like all the other's was educational. Kate picked this pen too, as well as 3 older rabbits she entered in the breeder show.  She entered 3 junior Mini Rex.  It was entertaining, as well as educational.
This handsome young man is from Dazzle x Avispo.  He has the personality to match his markings, and is a doll!  We are so excited to have a nice broken buck out of our line!	This is the 2003 Houston Livestock Show Market pen and "alternate".  The pen placed 18th out of 146 pens.  We were VERY excited and proud of Kate, and she picked her pen.
